Langdale School is a wonderful place to work as evidenced by the length of service that teachers tend to give, and the smiling faces of the teaching staff reflect the enjoyment that is gained by everyone who works here.

Mrs. Fulford-Brown

This is Mrs. Fulford-Brown, who has been a teacher at Langdale since 1994. Mrs. Fulford-Brown has, in the past, taught both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children, and her ‘specialist subjects’ include French and Music.  

The children in Mrs. Fulford-Brown’s class are always eager to come to school and the standards of learning within the class are always impressively high.  Mrs. Fulford-Brown has a wonderful sense of humour and a secret skill – she is an amazing netball coach!

Mr Rendell & Miss Collins

 

This photograph features Mr. Rendell and Miss Collins. Mr. Rendell is the school Principal, as well as being a Director of Montague Place, the group to which the school belongs. Mr. Rendell plays an active role in the management of Langdale and supports its development in all areas.

Miss Collins is a qualified teacher who leads and manages Langdale’s Nursery class. Miss Collins has been with the school since 2008 and her enthusiasm for learning ensures that the children in her class love coming to school each day. Miss Collins is a very warm and approachable teacher who’s positive approach results in confident, happy and capable nurserychildren.

 

Ms McKinnon & Mrs. Sykes

These two smiling ladies are Ms McKinnon (on the left) and Mrs. Sykes (on the right.

Ms McKinnon is our Teaching Assistant, and whilst she currently supports Miss Collins in the Nursery Class, Ms McKinnon has, in the past, worked across the whole 3-11 age range and offered targeted help in a variety of ways. Ms McKinnon has been with the school since 2002 .

Mrs. Sykes is the school secretary, but she also plays an active role in Langdale's parent committee (called FLIPS) and supports the rest of the staff in a multitude of different ways. Mrs. Sykes has been working at Langdale since 2008. 

Mrs. Stallard

This is Mrs. Stallard, the school’s Head teacher.  Mrs. Stallard teaches Class 1 and her favourite subjects to teach include Reading,Maths and Art . The children inMrs. Stallard's class love coming to school! They love reading and enjoy singing songs for everyone at the sharing assemblies on a Friday. They think Mrs. Stallard is really clever because she has just learned to drive the mini bus!
