Creative After-School Activities

Here at Langdale, we recognise the value of a creative, challenging and stimulating curriculum and we try to offer the children as many opportunities as possible to engage in learning that seeks to extend the skills and knowledge that’s delivered in the classroom.

Langdale offers both After-School care and Holiday Clubs, and the children who attend these sessions regularly take trips out to places of local interest or complete activities such as cooking, model-making and outdoor games.

Within the regular school timetable, the children have opportunities to visit local libraries, cinema’s, play grounds and theatres, to attend sports lessons, to take part in regional school challenges, and to be part of local community projects such as helping to design and build a new mosaic for the parish church.
