First Principles
Langdale Independent Nursery and Preparatory School provides a happy, secure and caring learning environment for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 11 years old. Established last century, the school was founded to meet the specific needs of Blackpool. Today it continues to respond to the demands of the 21st Century.
Located in Warbreck Drive in Bispham, the school is easily accessible from all parts of Blackpool, Thornton, Cleveleys and Fleetwood.
A particular hallmark of the school is that the pupils are confident, eager to learn, well motivated and respectful. The relationships between the children and their teachers are excellent. The school is proud of its wide range of stimulating and challenging activities that encourage life long learning.
The primary aim of the School is to give a wide and interesting education. Pupils are monitored individually and this enables staff to find and develop each child’s natural talents. The classes are small and the staff/pupil ratio is particularly generous.
All children are assured individual attention in mathematics, reading, writing, literature and language development. Pupils also study Music, Art, French, Current Affairs, Computing, Geography, History and Science. Additionally, the School offers a full and varied PE programme. Inter-School matches regularly take place.
Written reports are produced twice a year and annual prizes for progress and achievement are presented at the School’s Summer Prize Day.
